We wanted to commend our Cambridge Police Patrol Officers Association (CPPOA), as members recently made a donation of $4,000 to Cops for Kids with Cancer (CFKWC). The donated funds were all raised through the Pink Patch Project, a cancer awareness campaign with participation from public safety agencies throughout the country.
To commemorate breast cancer awareness month, Cambridge joined the Pink Patch Project this past October. CPPOA began selling commemorative pink patches and stickers with the goal of raising funds and awareness for the fight against cancer, with all proceeds from the sale of these items going to cancer charities.
The CPPOA and all members of the Department appreciate the City’s support of this important initiative!
