CPL at the ALA Annual Conference

The American Library Association’s annual conference took place last month in Washington, DC. CPL Director of Libraries Maria McCauley (far right), a member of ALA’s Executive Board, helped open the exhibit hall for the star-studded conference with speakers like author Jason Reynolds and US Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor. Several other Library staff participated including Deputy Director Joy Kim who presented on a PLA panel and Manager of Youth Services Julie Roach who is chairing the Caldecott Award Selection Committee 2020.

Lace up your sneakers and head to the Cambridge Public Library this summer for a workout! We’ll have lots of opportunities to build fitness and have fun – from Zumba to Capoeira to dance. Open to all.
