CPL at the ALA Annual Conference
The American Library Association’s annual conference took place last month in Washington, DC. CPL Director of Libraries Maria McCauley (far right), a member of ALA’s Executive Board, helped open the exhibit hall for the star-studded conference with speakers like author Jason Reynolds and US Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor. Several other Library staff participated including Deputy Director Joy Kim who presented on a PLA panel and Manager of Youth Services Julie Roach who is chairing the Caldecott Award Selection Committee 2020.
