The Life & Times of Frank Sinatra, Thursday, November 15, 7:00 PM:  Join us for a fast-paced, one-hour program that presents the momentous career of one of the greatest male entertainers of the twentieth century! The power-point lecture includes a treasure-trove of music and images from the vast catalogue of the career of Ol’ Blues Eyes.  During the program, the audience will hear many classic Sinatra recordings.  This program is presented by Bruce Hambro, a cultural historian and public school teacher, was once an actor as well as a booking agent and business manager in the music industry. He made his reputation promoting music acts throughout the United States.
Books, Brews & Bites, Thursday, November 28, 7:00 PM: Join us for a fun book discussion at the Heritage of Sherborn.  We’ll be discussing Less by Andrew Sean Greer, the 2018 winner of the Pulitzer Prize.  Join us for a book discussion over pizza and appetizers.  Food is generously provided by the Friends of the Sherborn Library.  21+ only. Cookbook Club, Thursday, December 6, 7:00 PM: Are you a food adventurer?  If you love to try new recipes, try out our club!  Each person selects a recipe from the same cookbook (the Library will provide copies) and prepares it for the group. The first Thursday of the month, we’ll meet, eat our creations, discuss our recipes and select the next cookbook. Involvement is flexible — participate one month, skip a month. It’s OK! To sign up, contact the Library at 508-653-0770.  This month we’ll be doing a cookie swap and cookbook swap (bring a cookbook, take a cookbook).
