The November meeting of the Parlin Memorial Library’s Pokemon Club will include an all new 3D printing project! Search for your favorite Pokemon to modify into your very own small plant pot, while learning about 3D modeling and using the Parlin Memorial Library’s brand new printer! This program is for children aged 12 and up, and all necessary materials will be provided by the library. The program is free and open to the public, but space is limited so please register at the Children’s Desk. To register or for more information, please call 617-394-2306.

The Parlin Memorial Library is excited to welcome back Zico the Therapy Dog! Come to the library’s Children’s Room on Tuesday, November 6 at 2:30 pm to meet Zico and read with him. Are you traveling to New York this holiday season? Want to impress your friends and family with your knowledge of the Storied Bars of New York? At the Everett Public Libraries, you can borrow the book or listen to author Julia Cabe discuss the charm and history of bars of New York while we share a mocktail. Get Hired: Resume Writing and Gmail

On Thursday November 8th at 7PM join us at the Parlin Library to create a resume! Learn about different types of resumes and determine which one is best for you!  After a quick overview of Gmail, you will have the opportunity to create a new resume or edit an existing one!  By the end of the class you should be able to go upstairs and print your new and improved resume! If you don’t finish by the end of the first class, you attend that is okay! Come to the next meeting and you can keep improving your resume! Classes will be held at the Parlin Library in the meeting room.  All resources will be provided.
