City of Cambridge Veterans’ Day Holiday Closures and Service Information for Monday, November 12

Cambridge, MA, October 31, 2018 — In observance of Veterans’ Day, Cambridge city offices, libraries, and senior centers will be closed and there will be no curbside collections (trash, recycling, compost) and no street cleaning on Monday, Nov. 12.  Payments will not be required at City of Cambridge parking meters and parking meter pay stations.

The curbside daily pickup routes will be one day behind schedule for the rest of that week. Regularly scheduled street cleaning routes for Nov. 12 were swept on Oct. 29. The offices at the Cambridge Cemetery, 76 Coolidge Avenue, will be closed on Monday, Nov. 12, however the gates will be open from dawn to dusk.

Residents can find their curbside collection schedule and street cleaning schedule by entering their address in the “My Cambridge Schedule” tool found at CambridgeMA.gov/theworks 

Reminders related to the above City services are available by text message, email, or app notifications by downloading the “Zero Waste Cambridge” app for iPhone/Android. Users can also register to receive reminders for the above services, as well as newsletters, such as CityView Weekly, and helpful notifications, including snow emergency parking bans and crime alerts via text or email at CambridgeMA.Gov/Subscribe.
