ACTON – Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Acton Police Chief Richard Burrows have confirmed that last night at approximately 10:30 p.m. Acton Police responded to a residence on Haynes Court for a reported stabbing. Upon arrival police located three victims, a 57-year-male, a 56-year-old female and a 28-year-old female. All three victims were transported to area hospitals. The 56-year-old female suffered superficial injuries, the 28-year-old female suffered serious injuries, the male victim’s injuries are life threatening.
Benjamin DiCristina, 25 was arrested at the scene. He has been charged with two counts of armed assault with intent to murder, two counts of assault and battery causing serious bodily injury, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, domestic assault and battery and strangulation and will be arraigned this morning in Concord District Court. The preliminary investigation indicates that DiCristina stabbed the three victims, his parents and another female who is known to him using scissors. During the altercation one of the female victims was able to call 911.
This is an open and active investigation being conducted by the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, Acton Police and Massachusetts State Police assigned to the District Attorney’s Office.
