Audiences are calling it “Superb!”, “A blast!” and “Heartwarming fun for the whole family.” Join magician and juggler Scott Jameson, on Thursday, August 9th at 2:00 pm at the Shute Memorial Library for an extraordinary performance that will have you laughing out loud. See umbrellas plucked from thin air, watch a drawing come to life. Basketballs will be spun and juggled, and a member of the audience will unlock telekinetic abilities! Armchair Travel to Vietnam

On Thursday, August 9th at 7:00 pm, the Vietnamese-American Community of Massachusetts will take us on a journey to the fascinating country of Vietnam. Names like the Saigon and the Mekong Delta are familiar to Americans of a certain age but there is so much more. Myths of dragon lords from the sea, mountain fairies, tigers, gibbons and mangrove swamps, form the culture of one of the fastest growing economies and youngest populations in the world. Learn what you don’t know about Vietnam. Refreshments will be served thanks to the Friends of the Everett Public Libraries. All library programs are free and open to the public.
