Yesterday, at the Medford High School Pool, the Feeley Family donated a new swimming record board. For the past 75 years, the Feeley family has been a part of the Medford Mustang community. “Today, we were honored to donate the new swimming record board at the Medford High pool. Once a Mustang, always a Mustang”, said the Feeley Family.
“About five years ago, when the pool was to be fixed, the Feeley Family contacted me and asked if there was anything that we would need for the pool. We suggested a record board and the Feeley Family eagerly accepted. They wanted to leave a lasting gift to the school”, said Head Swim Coach Mary Judge.
Present at the dedication were Mayor Stephanie Burke, School Committee Member Kathy Kreatz, Head Swim Coach Mary Judge, Athletic Director Bob Maloney, Director of Health and Physical Education Rachel Perry, along with members of the Feeley Family, including: the Patriarch John Feeley, Sr, Christine Feeley, Mike Feeley, Jeanne Feeley, Charlie Feeley, Mary Jo Feeley, Gerry Powers and Coreen Feeley. Former record holders also attended including: Danielle Peluso, Nick Farrell and representing Maureen Tardelli representing her daughter, Rachel Tardelli.
