This past week at the Roberts Elementary School, Medford, State and Malden Police K-9 Officers gave a demonstration to the 3rd grade classes. The students are currently reading Officer Mike and Aero, from the Journeys reading program. The demonstration helped to enhance the reading curriculum for the students.
Medford Police Officer Harold MacGilvray, with his dog, Seamus; Malden Police Officer Michael Polston, and his dog, Klaus; and Massachusetts State Trooper Brian Cooper with his dog, Drako, all spoke to the students and had the dogs perform different tasks.
