Police Chief Timothy B. Sheehan is pleased to announce the addition of Patrolman Michael Maccario to the ranks of the Tewksbury Police Department. Incoming Tewksbury Police Officer Michael Maccario transferred to the Department on Monday, October 3rd, 2016 from the Marblehead Police Department where he began his law enforcement career back in March of 2014. Michael is a 2014 graduate of the Reading Police Academy.
Officer Maccario was highly recommended by his supervisors at the Marblehead Police Department and comes to us with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Salem State University along with some specialized training in the areas of Fair and Impartial Policing, Eyewitness Identification, Response to Domestic Violence Calls, Opiate Awareness, and Prescription Drug Crimes.
We have extremely high hopes and expectations for Officer Maccario and are confident that he will represent the highest standards of modern law enforcement and the finest traditions of the Tewksbury Police Department. The future of the Tewksbury Police Department just got brighter.
