DiDomenico Stands with Congresswoman Clark at Gun Violence Day of Action Rally

Posted by

During a National Day of Action for Gun Violence Prevention Rally at the State House, Senator Sal DiDomenico joined Congresswoman Katherine Clark and other Massachusetts leaders in calling on Congress to enact stricter gun laws to end our nation’s epidemic of gun violence. The rally was organized by Congresswoman Clark, who was also a major leader of the “No Bill No Break” sit-in on the floor of the United States House of Representatives. DiDomenico and Clark were also joined by national and local leaders including Congressman Joseph Kennedy III, Boston Mayor Marty Walsh, Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey, Senate President Stan Rosenberg, Speaker Bob DeLeo, Suffolk County Sheriff Steve Tompkins, Boston Police Commissioner William Evans, and countless members of the Massachusetts House and Senate. Due to the efforts of Clark and other “No Bill No Break” leaders, as well as national displays of support for common sense gun laws, House Speaker Paul Ryan has announced that he will call a vote on a bill to stop anyone on the FBI’s terror watch list from buying a gun.
