BOSTON – Tuesday, July 26, 2016 – Today, Mayor Martin J. Walsh issued the following statement:
“The entire City of Boston is praying for the safe return of Kyzr Willis and will be on high alert until he is back home. The Boston Police Department is working closely with the Massachusetts State Police, and we ask anyone with absolutely any information that may be related to this young boy to immediately call 911.”

BOSTON – Monday, July 25, 2016 – Mayor Martin J. Walsh today announced the August Friday Afternoon Concert Series lineup, hosted by the Mayor’s Office of Tourism, Sports, & Entertainment. As a continuation of the series that began in July, every Friday in August a different local band will perform live from 12-2 p.m. in Sam Adams Park, directly outside of Faneuil Hall. CITY OF BOSTON TO LAUNCH BODY CAMERA PILOT PROGRAM WITH BOSTON POLICE DEPARTMENT

BOSTON – Tuesday, July 12, 2016 – Mayor Martin J. Walsh and Boston Police Commissioner William Evans today announced an agreement with the Boston Police Patrolmen’s Association (BPPA) to allow the City of Boston and Boston Police Department to launch a six-month Body Worn Camera Pilot Program. Under the agreement, up to 100 volunteer patrol officers will be equipped with body cameras for a six month period in which on-duty police activity will be documented. SENATE PASSES OMNIBUS ENERGY BILL
