Medford-“Mustang Spirit Award” presented to Mrs. Lepore!

Mrs. Nelida Lepore, a Medford resident and over 20 year Spanish teacher at Medford High School, was presented the “Mustang Spirit Award”, as voted by the student body. Mrs. Lepore serves as the Advisor to the Foreign Language Club. Every year, she organizes the Carnival, a festival that celebrates cultures around the world. In addition, she has planned numerous school trips to Puerto Rico, Spain, Mexico and Cuba. She is an inspiration to her students and fellow teachers and staff.  
The Award was presented during “Mustang Spirit Day” hosted by all the classes, the MHS Student Council and the Gay/Straight Alliance. Students were entertained by the Tuesday Night Special Band, the MHS Dance Team, and the Medford High School Band. In addition, the finals of the faculty/student basketball game, were held.
