Tewksbury Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested

On September 9, 2015 the Tewksbury Police Department arrested Isaiah Dotson, 25, of 440 North Ave. Apt. #207, Haverhill for armed robbery, kidnapping, intimidation of a witness, larceny over $250 and carrying a firearm without a license.

At approximately 8:30 PM, the Tewksbury Police responded to the GoWireless Store located at 345 Main Street for a report of an armed robbery. It was reported that the suspect was armed with a handgun and had fled the store.

The lone employee was forced at gunpoint to the rear of the store and was instructed to open the safe. The suspect stole several cell phones and money. The victim was not physically injured.

The phones were tracked by GPS as the suspect fled, which led police to the suspect’s location in Lowell. Lowell Police conducted a stop of the vehicle and placed Dotson into custody. Numerous phones and money were recovered, along with a loaded .380 handgun.

Dotson appears to be the same suspect who robbed an AT&T store at gunpoint in North Andover on September 4th.

Dotson is due to be arraigned at Lowell District Court on September 10, 2015.
