MAYOR WALSH TO BREAK GROUND ON IMPROVEMENTS TO CONNECT BOSTON’S HISTORICAL SITES

BOSTON – Thursday, July 9, 2015 – Tomorrow, Mayor Martin J. Walsh will join representatives of the National Park Service (NPS) and the U.S. Department of Transportation to break ground on “Connect Historic Boston” – a new route that will enhance walking, biking and public transit to historic sites and other destinations in downtown Boston and Charlestown.

1:00 P.M.

WHERE: Blackstone Street, Downtown

Blackstone Street is accessible by MBTA via Haymarket (Orange and Green lines).
