Malden Mayor Gary Christenson recently engaged residents during his “outdoor office” hours at the Farmer’s Market. Many residents joined him to discuss issues ranging from trash pick-up to ideas on rebuilding the City Hall property.
“This was an opportunity for me to meet people who I ordinarily wouldn’t hear from,” said Mayor Christenson. “The day-to-day business of running the City leaves me very little time to be out in the community – it was great to get out of the office!”
The Mayor will hold meetings at locations around the City in an effort to hear first-hand from residents about issues important to them.
