The Sherborn Lions kicked off the start of their 50th club year in September with a cake and ice cream social at the Sherborn Inn.
The celebration will continue during the coming months. Upcoming events include:
Oct 16 – Steve Machnik, a speaker from the Brain Injury Association of MA Ambassador Program and former executive at VMark Software, will address his own 1995 brain injury, describe his recovery process, and convey the message of how to prevent such injuries.
Nov 20 – We will be joined by Lions International Director John Pettis and talented storyteller Kate Carney, who will bring Helen Keller’s teacher Annie Sullivan to life in a riveting theatrical performance, appropriate for all ages.
Both meetings will take place at the Sherborn Inn, 33 N Main St, Sherborn at 6:30pm.
Cost is $22 for a 3-course dinner and the program; free for program-only, but donations appreciated to help defray the cost.
RSVP required; contact President Kathy Hammer at email@example.com or 781-985-1628
