After a long and successful run in Somerville, Cavalia is dismantling its big white big top tent and moving on to its next venue city.
Thousands of spectators enjoyed Cavalia’s performances, with a sellout audience at all times.
The horses, the equipment, and the entertainers have all packed up their gear and have shipped out earlier today as yesterday, Sunday, was the show’s final performance in Somerville, at least for this year.
The makers of the Cavalia show have also timed their performances in such a strategic way that we are pretty sure that it also cut into some of the annual Barnum & Bailey Circus business that is coming to town and due to take place in Boston this coming October.
The Cavalia show brought a bit of excitement to Somerville especially in the Assembly Square area where construction has been ongoing for the past couple of years developing a city within a city.
