The Urban Public Safety Alliance Recognition and Honor Banquet in the spirit of “Boston Strong”

This past Friday evening a crowed function hall of over five hundred attendees, elected officials and law enforcement agencies from across the state filled the IBEW Local 103 Union Hall located on Freeport Street in Dorchester, where The Urban Public Safety Alliance hosted it’s 1st Annual  “Recognition and Honor Banquet”  in the spirit of “Boston Strong” that was dedicated to the public safety personnel who lost their lives and/or put themselves in harm’s way during the horrific attacks of the Boston Marathon and aftermath.

Mass. Environmental Police
In addition The Urban Public Safety Alliance also honored:
Former Channel 4 WBZ Newscaster Reverend Liz Walker
Public Safety Secretary Andrea Cabral
Captain James Jones, MSP
Officer’s Harry Jean and Terry Cotton, BPD
Scholarships were also announced and presented by The Public Safety Alliance.
The Urban Public Safety Alliance is made up of members of the Mass Asian Minority Law Enforcement Officers Inc, The Benevolent Jade Society of New England, Massachusetts Minority State Police Officers Association Inc and the IABPFF.
