Oliveria's Brazilian Restaurant Everett
On Friday December 9th our Secret Critic visited Oliveria's Brazilian Restaurant located at 749 Broadway in Everett and ordered the Brazilian Rodizio. Rodizio is a style of restaurant service in Brazilian restaurants. One pays a fixed price and the waiters bring an offering of food to each customer at several times throughout the meal, until the customers signify that they have had enough. In churrascarias (Brazilian Steakhouse), servers come to the table with knives and a skewer, on which are speared various kinds of meat, most commonly local cuts of beef, pork, or chicken. The surroundings were pleasant and the service was fantastic and the experience was a bit exiting to be there as well. A full bar off to the side on the restaurant made for a quiet place for romantic conversation a night cap. Boston News Group Critic gave Oliveria's a thumbs up!

Morton's Steak House Boston's Back Bay 699 Boylston Exeter Plz  Boston On Saturday December 31st, that's right, New Years Eve, like many others forgot to make reservations anywhere. So with a last minute reservation we decided to dine at Morton's. The place was packed but the staff was excellent sqeezing us in. We could of easily got a table but we decide to dine at the bar. Our bartender/server Chuck was excellent as if we knew him forever. He gave us that "Welcome to Fantasy Island" warm comfortable feeling somewhat like Ricardo Montalban did with his guests on the island! After a couple of cocktails we started on lobster tail appetizers followed by a Chopped salad with a Dijon vinaigrette dressing. Our main entries were a  butterflied fillet minion cooked to perfection and one of the biggest steaks that I ever set my eyes upon ,the New York Rib Eye with a side of mushrooms and onions with asparagus smothered in a very tasty arrangement recipe. With more cocktails on ice, happy New Year hats and noisemakers and Chuck our bartender/new found friend, it made for a picture perfect evening in Boston! The entire evening was a bit pricey but we got to tell you that it was totally worth every cent! A meat lover's paridise if there ever was one where your treated like a king! The food, service and surroundings were the best of the best! Morton's on the Back Bay gets a big "Thumbs Up!"
